About Melissa
Melissa is a highly intuitive psychic medium who has connected with thousands of Angels to provide healing messages and information to loved ones left behind all around the world. Melissa’s gift also allows her to communicate with nonverbal children and adults, whether they have special needs or a medical condition that prevents them from verbally speaking for themselves. Some of Melissa’s favorite clients are the animals she communicates with, both domestic and wild, hospice and especially her ongoing relationships with her special regular cliente around the world via Zoom.
The daughter of a retired homicide detective, Melissa has a passion for finding answers to unsolved crimes, and she uses her gift to help families of missing people, pro bono. She has worked with private investigators and law enforcement on missing persons cases, and can often provide critical information, including locations, descriptions of people involved, and cause(s) of death.
As a child, Melissa knew she was never alone and was often entertained by lights dancing on the ceiling. “You have what Grandma has,” she was constantly told, but no one ever put a name to it. One night when Melissa was 16, she heard her parents’ phone ring, and she instantly knew her Grandma RC Reyes had passed away. Decades later, after her Grandma Julia Buxbaum Rodriguez died, the messages Melissa was receiving grew so incessant that she could no longer ignore them.
That sent Melissa on a journey of self-discovery and a tough road of healing childhood traumas that allowed peace into her life and strengthened her connection to Spirit. She studied with a mentor, took classes, and attended retreats to better understand and accept her gift. She learned of a Shaman in her ancestry and many other gifted family members, and it comforted her to know that her bloodline contained a lineage of healers.
Melissa is dedicated to helping people heal through Spirit, and she feels a great responsibility to be ethical, respectful, confidential, and forthright with the information Spirit brings forward.
On a personal level, Melissa is a wife and a mother to humans and animals, with passion for international cooking, antiquing, travel, and the arts. She is an Aquarian, and a gay Mexican-American woman born in East Los Angeles who loves and gives back to her family, friends, culture, and communities.
